Isogo TV | Episode 3: The ONE Thing Great Managers Do

Isogo TV | Live and Work Your Strengths Video Podcast
with Becky Hammond
Managers and team leaders…this one is for you.
Are you pulling your hair out? Kinda coasting? Or are you thriving? Drawing the best out of them and making your job EASIER as a result?
When I was introduced to StrengthsFinder in 2007, it first transformed the language of my marriage and changed the way we connect with and support each other (in an awesome way!). Shortly after, I began think…hm, I wonder if I can use these same concepts—working from Talent and Strength—in my new, fledgling role as a manager.
So, I gave it a try.
And, it worked.
Managing by Strength made my job as a manager and team leader EASIER. And more FUN for all of us.
And, after awhile…our team was more effective too. We met goals. I understood what made them tick, gave them energy, and the best way to get them to success.
What I had stumbled upon was the ONE thing great managers do.
In this episode of Isogo TV, I dissect that very thing—the ONE thing great managers do. I tell you my management story and give you the 3 steps you can take to start putting into practice that ONE thing that all great managers do.
So…let’s dive in!
[Oh, and once you do, I created a helpful infographic just for managers and team leaders that outlines those 3 steps and will give you a visual reminder of the ONE thing all great managers do…so you can be a great manager too! You can access it HERE.]

Managing is hard. It will never be a cakewalk. Period.
So, when we can gather tools and concepts that make managing EASIER and draw the best out of the people around us, well that’s a management-win. All around.
If you already manage like this, if this is new to you, or if you have other management tips that are tried and true for you, let me know!
